Descend

Guided fly fishing on Oklahoma's most overlooked water. We operate exclusively on private water in the remote Cimarron panhandle. No crowds. No pressure. Just careful, exact fishing.

01

Undiscovered

A genuinely remote cold-water fishery. You won't see another angler because there aren't any. We have exclusive access to the best holding water.

02

Technical

Spring-fed clarity demands precise presentations. This is hunting with a fly rod—rewarding the observant and the patient.

03

Landscape

Fish beneath the sheer sandstone walls of the Black Mesa. The environment is as striking as the trout it holds.

The Water

Through exclusive lease agreements with three adjacent landowners, we operate on several miles of undisturbed spring-fed tributaries and main-stem Cimarron water.

Marcus Hale

Head Guide & Owner

Spent twelve years as a wildlife biologist focused on riparian habitat restoration. In 2017, he converted that expertise into Cimarron Drift Co., an operation built around understanding the ecosystem rather than exploiting it.

"The most interesting water is always the water nobody else is looking at.

Limited Availability

We guide a maximum of four trips per week to entirely eliminate pressure on the fishery. Dates for the prime season fill rapidly.
